Ric O’Barry is a former dolphin trainer. He had a great success while taking part in an international TV-show “Flipper”. That is him, who caught and trained five dolphins who stroke the whole world. One day he gets to Taiji, Japan. There is a secret cove where dolphins and whales are lured and hunted by local inhabitants in this provincial town. Fishermen attract mammals here and catch some of them to sell to oceanariums. But the majority of them are killed and sold as meat on Japanese markets. All in all, more than 23 000 dolphins perish in coastal waters of Taiji. What can O’Barry do to ease mammals’ lot?

A young Carl Fredrickson befriends a young adventure spirited girl named Ellie. They both are eager to go to a Lost Land to see Paradise Falls in South America. Carl and Ellie eventually get married and grow old together in the restored abandoned house, working as a toy balloon vendor and a zookeeper, respectively. One day 70 years later, Carl is finally able to buy tickets to South America, but Ellie has died. During the time the city grows around the now-elderly Carl's house. A developer buys all the surrounding land, but Carl refuses to sell. Then, when a construction worker is deservedly hit by Carl, he is forced to go to a retirement home. But before they can take him, he and his house fly away with the help of numerous helium balloons. An 8 year old boy named Russell becomes his accidental passenger. Together, they embark in an adventure, where they encounter talking dogs, an evil villain and a rare bird named Kevin.

It is a real story, which occurred in 1920-s in Japan. Hachiko is a dog of very rare and expensive Japanese breed. As a puppy it appears from nowhere on a railway-station where he gets a new owner – a middle-aged man. The more Hachiko lives with his new master, the more he becomes attached to him. Every day the dog accompanies him to the station and back. After the master’s death Hachiko goes on coming to the station each day at 5 p.m. during 9 years to meet his owner and waiting for him till the last train arrives. Almost every person at the station who watches the animal is touched and impressed. They see in him a vivid example of faithfulness and love. Afterwards they will erect a monument to Hachiko at the place where he was continually waiting for his master.
