Llewelyn Moss, hunting antelopes, accidentally finds himself at the gangland-style shoot-out between the pushers and drug buyers-up. He discovers a heap of corpses, the truck full of heroine and a tempting sum of money - two million dollars. Moss decides to take the suitcase with the money, not suspecting that he will become a game not only for hired killer, Carson Wells, but also for mentally unbalanced criminal, Anton Chigurh, who kills everyone оn his way. Meanwhile, the local Sherrif Ed Tom Bell tries to solve the case and to save the life of the Moss’s wife, Carla Jean Moss.

A rat named Remy that lives in the attic of a French country home with his family aspires to be a gourmet chef, inspired by France's recently deceased top chef, Auguste Gusteau. One of the peculiarities of Remy is a keen sense of smell and taste. But because of Remy’s unsuccessful cookery experiment the family of rats is discovered by the home's occupant and banished. There Will Be Blood concerns the events of the California oil boom of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. The movie lifts the veil on lifestyle of Daniel Plainview, the man who has transformed from a poor miner in the powerful and uncompromising oil tycoon without outside help. One day Plainview receives information that there is a small town in the South-west of the state where the oil wells out of the ground. Together with his son, Daniel sets out to try his luck in the Little Boston, a dusty sleepy town on the barren soil. In this godforsaken place life glimmers except in the church of charismatic preacher Eli. Plainview and his son open a new oilfield but when they have good luck - everything changes, and such human values as love, hope, faith, and even the relationships between father and son are giving way to corruption, deception and the flows of oil.

But the intrigue grows after several accidents and crimes that break apart the quietness of Sandford. It seems like this time Danny and Nicholas can be involved in the actions from the movies Danny was watching on his TV.

The film’s plot is based on a real-life story. After the death of a drug dealer Bumpy Johnson, his employer Frank Lucas becomes the most successful importer of heroin in the district. He can scent profit. His drugs are the most accessible and of the highest quality in the market. He also has connections with New York Mafia that does support his flourishing business. A brave and committed policeman, Roberts, leads the anti-drug force to stop the distribution and trafficking of drugs.

13 years old Briony Tallis possesses excellent creative imagination and a gift for writing plays. She knows that the family servant’s son Robbie to whom the family has always been amiable is in love with her older sister Cecilia and she reciprocates his affection. Out of childish pique Briony decides to blame Robbie for the rape of her cousin Lola that in fact was committed by a visitor to the estate. Robbie is put into prison but Cecilia refuses to believe Briony. The bitter hostility arises between two sisters.
