This is a story about the war for a very special ring. This war had been lasting for thousands years and every person who was the owner of the ring was the sovereign of the world, but this person had to serve to the might of the evil. Gandalf is a kind wizard and he realized that if he destroys the ring, the world will finally become free of terror and iniquity. Gandalf also knows that the Dark Lord Sauron is looking for this magic ring, but it is secretly kept by his old friend Bilbo. Gandalf advises Bilbo to give the ring to his nephew, Frodo, who is a small hobbit. When Frodo gets a ring he realizes that this is a very powerful instrument but he has no idea how to protect the ring. This defenseless but fearless small hobbit starts his journey together with his several small friends – elves and hobbits. Their mission is to keep the ring and to deliver it to the Cracks of Doom, a mysterious place where it can be destroyed. Lord Farquaad instead removes the fairytale creatures from the swamp. Shrek save Fiona from the Dragon together with his new-found and always chatting friend Donkey. Moreover, he falls in love with her. But the questions are: does Fiona like the Ogre and why she always hides before the sunrise?

This is happening in Somalia in 1993. This African country is suffering from famine, diseases and poverty. The UN and the governments of the US and other countries are trying to help Somalia citizens with products and medicines, in fact the capital city of Somalia – Mogadishu – is occupied by a commander, who is murdering citizens and taking away their provision. In October the U.S. government decides that they have to help Somalia and to capture top commanders who are terrorizing people in Mogadishu. The U.S. Army Rangers are the members of the team which is assigned to bring peace to Somalia. But first they need to fight Somali gunmen and make other heroic efforts on the territory of the enemy. The story shows us the feelings the soldiers and the officers are having during this tragic operation and it shows us the real war, the real braveness and the real desire for life.

This story is about conscript Hoyt’s first day in Los Angeles Police Department. Actually he didn’t spend much time specifically in the department and the whole movie is 24-hours of his probation on the streets under command of Alonzo Harris, obdurate and experienced detective. Harris knows everything about the laws of the streets and he has already developed his own methods of warfare with a crime. Although he succeeds in defrauding police, FBI and even drug dealers from Columbia, he has no idea where can danger come from…
