Ellen Ripley has barely survived the terrible ordeal at the abandoned planet LV-426. However, nobody believed her story about the so-called “Aliens” found on the surface. In about 50 years, the planet had been colonized, but the colony was utterly destroyed afterwards. Now the government decided to pull Ripley out of cryostat to aid a detachment of rough, seasoned space marines to get to the forsaken planet, investigate the Alien threat and retrieve any survivors found. Meanwhile, someone named as Francis Dollarhyde, tries to elude Graham, dating with woman with the lost of eyesight who cannot even imagine that her admirer is the serial killer.

After Korea and Vietnam wars gunnery sergeant Thomas Highway is approaching mandatory retirement from the Marine Corps. Used to spend his life on war, Highway wangles a transfer back to his old unit. However when he finally arrives at the base, his new commanding officer Major Malcolm Powers sees Highway as an anachronism in the "new" Marine Corps, and assigns him to shape up the reconnaissance platoon.
