Oscar Schindler is a German manufacturer who lives in Krakow and keeps a factory which produces metal goods. The workers at his factory are Jews from the ghetto. Later on the industrialist learns his employees closer, feels compassion to them and starts helping. He saves the Jews from unavoidable death risking not only his reputation but his own life, too. Sometimes he has to behave dishonestly: he bribes, lies, hides the truth but, in the result, saves more than 1 100 doomed Jews. His life is a triumph of one person who is unlike others and the drama of those who with his help have survived in this terrible period of the humankind’s history.

Forrest Gump is a man whose story ruins the stereotypes. He is a regular guy, who has good intentions but who looks like a fool for most people in the most life situations. Being a child he is having only one friend whose name is Jenny. She is the only person who is willing to hang around with him and she loves him as a friend just the way he is. The time passes and their lives go different ways. He chooses to join the army and he finds himself in Vietnam. He sees so much cruelty around him and he really hates the war. He finds new friends there, then he gets medals and his life starts changing rapidly. Although he is not smart enough, but he has a kind heart under his skin and this helps him to find his path after the war. Finally he realizes that the only person in the world he really loves is his best friend from his childhood – Jenny. This touching and dramatic story shows that there are much more important things in our life than the things most people think are important.

During WWII, in the United States, General George Marshall discovers that three of four brothers in the Ryan family have all been killed within days of each other and that their mother will receive all three "killed in battle" notice on the same day. And when he learns that the fourth son, Private James Francis Ryan of Baker Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, is missing in action somewhere in Normandy, the General decides to send a unit consisting of 8 men to find him and bring him back. However, their duty is dangerous and one by one, they die.

The film is a tragic autobiography of Wladislaw Spielmann, one of the best Polish pianists of the twentieth century. The man is busy himself with music till the territory of Poland is occupied by the Nazis. The life of all the Jews changes when they are placed to Warsaw ghetto. Spielmann is the only person from the family who survives the catastrophe. The man goes on living in the occupied Polish capital where he leads an insufferable life: he has to hide and live in uninhabited flats so for no one to suspect that somebody lives there. Is it possible to perform in such conditions? And can the pianist’s fame and nationwide love protect him from treachery?

This story is about the rebel and the national hero of Scotland William Wallace. His father was killed trying to bring freedom to Scotland. Since now William has nothing to lose, but Scotland. This amazing country of his birth must get the independence from British crown. William gathers his army and starts fighting against the army of Edward the Longshanks, who is sure that the crown of Scotland must belong to him only.

New recruits arrive to the training base on an island in South Carolina. Their tutor is a very strict and heartless Sergeant who wants to turn his fresh recruits into killers because it is planned that they will take part in the Vietnam War and there will be no place for milquetoasts and effeminates. We observe the group of young recruits, one of which is Pyle – who is fat and clumsy, and Joker – who is always funny and optimistic. The Sergeant chooses Pyle as a target for his sneers because of his clumsiness, but in the end of the first part of the film we will see that Pyle will find the remedy to pay off… This will become a lesson for Joker who will soon find himself in the middle of hell. Joker soon is delivered to the zone of military operations where he gets a position of the military journalist. Joker thinks a lot about the issues of life and death, he thinks that he is not able to kill anyone, but soon the war changes his life values and the next moment he needs to choose between his own death and the death of a young Vietnamese woman…

“Jew-hunter” Standartenführer Hans Landa finds a Jewish family in a French farmer’s house. He orders his soldiers to shoot down the people who are hiding under the floor. But an eighteen-year-old girl Shosanna Dreyfus manages to escape when her family is being shot. She leaves for Paris where she changes her name and owns a cinema. At the same time Lt. Aldo Raine gathers a troop of American soldiers of Jewish nationality to perform a diversionary mission on the territory of the occupied France and calls it “Inglorious Bastards”. Their task is to annihilate Nazi. They come to France to make an act of sabotage. Thus, the paths of Shosanna and the “Bastards” cross for the aim – to revenge the Nazi.

This is the story of the period between two world wars – an interim during which insanity cut loose, liberty took a nose dive, and humanity was kicked around somewhat. A Jewish barber in the army of Tomania saves the life of high-ranking officer Schultz. While Schultz survives the conflict unscathed, the barber is stricken with amnesia and bundled off to a hospital. Twenty years pass: Tomania has been taken over by dictator Adenoid Hynkel. Hynkel despises all Jews and regularly wreaks havoc on the Tomanian Jewish ghetto, where feisty Hannah lives. Meanwhile, the barber escapes from the hospital and instinctively heads back to his cobweb-laden ghetto barber shop. Unaware of Hynkel's policy towards Jews, the barber gets into a slapstick confrontation with a gang of Aryan storm troopers. He is rescued by his old friend Schultz, now one of Hynkel's most loyal officers. Thanks to Schultz's protection, the ghetto receives a brief respite from Hynkel's persecution. The barber sets up shop again, developing a warm platonic relationship with Hannah. But things take a sorry turn when Hynkel, angered that a Jewish banker has refused to finance his war with Austerlitz, begins bearing down again on the Ghetto…

Chris Taylor, who arrives to Vietnam to protect the ideals of US propaganda, suddenly realizes that this place is a real hell and the ideals are completely different in this place. The other soldiers of his platoon don’t care much about his arrival – each of them only thinks of himself. But soon Chris starts realizing that this place is a real hell, because he needs to take part in two wars. One of them is a Vietnamese War and it is much less dangerous. The second war is the war of two sergeants of the American Army. They both belong to the same platoon and both of them have their supporters and their ingenious plans. This war will not be over until one of them dies so this war is much more dangerous and unexplainable for Chris. The young soldier will see the things which he would never have expected to see, and in fact he didn’t even know that such events can possibly happen in the Army of the United States…
