Frankie Dunn is a professional coach who has trained several great boxers. Spending time in the boxing ring he tries to forget his other life which actually doesn’t exist for the last 25 years. Since the day when his daughter decided to avoid him, he has kept everyone away from his heart and soul. His only fellow is Scarp who knows everything about Frankie’s moral injury but with no idea how to help him. And one day Maggie walks into gym and everything starts changing in front of Frankie’s eyes. If he lets her in his inner world maybe she will be able to save him from his depression and desperateness, but he will need lots of strength and courage to do this. He can’t even imagine that his life can include such words as “friend”, “trust” and even “love”, and now he needs to make a huge step to save both his life and the life of Maggie, who seems to miss the same things as Frankie misses.

This story is about fading professional wrestler Randy "The Ram" Robinson whose prime is nearly to be forgotten. The key moment of his career is the day of his fight with a world champion Max Baer. This opponent is unbeatable and he is known for killing two boxers in the ring.
