Based on Homer’s Iliad the movie takes us back to 1250 B.C when the heir of Trojan throne Paris has captured the beautiful Helen, the wife of the king of Sparta, Menelaus. The Spartan king’s honor is at stake now and he vows revenge. Together with his brother Agamemnon who has his own lofty plans on conquering other lands Menelaus decides to start the battle with Trojans. Under the command of Achilles, they rally forces and set a course for Troy, dreaming of a bloody battle. Their huge number of ships land at the approaches of Troy and the troops defeated the city. This will be a long fight between two worlds over glory, honor and love.
