Two just-graduated officers, Colin Sullivan and Billy Costigan, from Massachusetts State Police Academy follow opposite sides of the law: Colin Sullivan is promoted in the Massachusetts State Police and becomes the mole and informer of Frank Costello. Billy Costigan is asked by Captain Queenan and the abusive Staff Sergeant Dignam to become an undercover agent, and to get enough evidences against the Irish mobster Frank Costello to arrest him. Each police officer gives his best effort trying to disclose the identity of the other.

A new technology of human replicants creation seems to work like a watch. People are using clones with limited lifespans in their colonies on the other planets. Rick Deckard is a respected retired policeman from Los Angeles. Several clones suddenly go out of control and they land on Earth. Nobody can tell exactly what happened, because the replicans technology seemed to be very reliable, however now it is extremely important to stop them.
