Jimmy Markum, Sean Devine and Dave Boyle are inseparable friends from their childhood. They were playing hockey growing up on restless Boston streets years ago. When they are grown-ups the circumstances bring them together again: Jimmy Markum’s daughter Katie has been brutally murdered. The main life aim of Jimmy, a past-time fraud and today’s grocery owner, is the revenge for the killed girl. The policeman who is given to investigate the case is Sean Devine who is sure that the number one suspect in the murder is Dave Boyle. The emotional shocks from the past tightly connect the childhood of the friends to their adult present days and revitalize some dreadful events of the past.

Ari and his old friend stay late in the bar and his friend told Ari about the nightmare that keeps recurring every night. Twenty six fierce dogs are chasing him every night and he can never run away from them. Two friends guess that the nightmare is connected with their past, when two fellows took part in the war against Lebanon. In 1982 Ari’s fellow was assigned to kill all twenty six dogs in the village of their enemies. Ari’s friend succeeded to kill all dogs and his mission was completed, but the dogs have been coming in his nightmares ever since. While Ari listens to this story he starts realizing that he can hardly remember anything about this period of his life during the war. He understands that there is something important that he needs to reminisce and he decides to start looking back by meeting his comrades. But he has no idea what kind of changes it will bring to his life…

Widely (and incorrectly) regarded as being based on a true story, the movie follows those that disappeared, and those that stayed behind, but it delights in the asking of questions, not the answering of them.

This story is about conscript Hoyt’s first day in Los Angeles Police Department. Actually he didn’t spend much time specifically in the department and the whole movie is 24-hours of his probation on the streets under command of Alonzo Harris, obdurate and experienced detective. Harris knows everything about the laws of the streets and he has already developed his own methods of warfare with a crime. The streets of LA are abundant with drug-dealers and drug-addicts and this atmosphere can’t be controlled simply by a law. Sometimes the policemen need to balance between evil and good to be able to succeed. But some of the expert Harris’s principles are doubtful for young Hoyt and he hesitates if they are doing right or not.

After a terrible nuclear catastrophe on the Earth, all people are dying of hunger and poverty. The traffic is paralyzed because of the lack of fuel. Petrol is now priceless and looking for it Max combs out the distant lands of Australia. Finally he comes to a former oil refinery where a group of local people are fighting for their fuel with a band on the bikes. The locals are hungry and exhausted and their rivals are cruel armed warriors who don’t only wish to get their fuel, but also want to murder them all. At first Max is not happy to meet any of them, being tired of his journey himself, but when he sees injustice and cruelty of the bike band, he joins local people and rebuffs aggressors together with his new companions.

This is the tale about one small, quick-witted, bright piglet Babe who is living on the farm among the other animals. This tiny pretty pig is well informed about everything that is going on around. Fly, the local shepherd dog is the best friend of Babe. Babe is thinking about building his career in pasturing and reaches the enormous and impressive results, demonstrating his outstanding preparedness and responsibility.

A story which shows that sometimes love can be dangerous… Especially if there are two objects of your affection and one of them is heroine. Candy is a young fresh and slightly successful actress with lots of desires and expectations from her life. When she meets Dan her world goes upside down, because their love is so strong that it seems nothing can be stronger. Dan is a young poet who is pretty smart, but their love games become even more full-fledged when one day they try heroine. At first this seems to be a mistake or a stupid joke, but everyday their addiction is getting stronger and one day they run out of money for drugs. Candy loses her job and becomes a prostitute, while Dan keeps looking for money, because he needs an injection. He doesn’t care that his wife spends time with other men for money and heroine – nothing matters to him anymore. Eventually Dan and Candy become strangers and move to Melbourne where they try to quit. When nothing helps they decide that they will find money together, but what can be with the idea of getting money for two drug-addicts?
